Hi, my name is Kasey and I run this blog for fun in my free time!
I created Dupe Fairy as a hobby and lifestyle blog. The name infers to a little fairy helping you find an equivalent version of something more expensive (a dupe). But it also can be someone who keeps you from getting fooled (duped) out of spending too much on something that isn’t worth it!
A couple of things about me (oldschool internet vibes):
My favorite video games include: Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley and games in the Harvest Moon Franchise. If it has a fishing mini-game in it, its for me.
Manhwas I’m currently reading: True Beauty, Tower of God, The Gamer, Solo Leveling
Shows I’m currently re-watching: Basically all of the DC universe animated cartoons on HBO Max. (I love Static Shock!)
I like most music but I don’t actively listen to it on a daily basis or keep up with new stuff. My favorites are the oldies and classic rock. I prefer the randomness of Pandora over having a Spotify playlist.
My college major was Computer Science with a minor in Multimedia Computing and I’m currently working as a data analyst.
